2019 has been a very fulfilling year for us. We travelled to Kerala, India, and were able to meet individuals who were struggling with finance to keep their children enrolled in school. Hence, we went Aranmula, which was also heavily affected by the recent flood, making it hard for parents to balance maintaining their home and their child’s education. To help out, we went to VHSS Aranmula, which is a Government-run school in Mallappuzhassery, India. A small event was organized in the school to welcome many parents of students so that we could donate money first hand. The school was very welcoming and the parents were extremely friendly towards our donation as well as thankful. It was noticeable how high education was valued there, and the student’s passion shone brightly.
